Setting up your outlet
An outlet in Biller is your restaurant, café, cloud kitchen or takeaway counter -- one physical business location. Its profile is the identity that prints on every bill (name, address, tax numbers, phone), and it's also what everything else you set up -- tables/counters, menu, taxes, team -- belongs to. You can come back and change any of it any time.
Looking for your credits balance?
Your plan status, permanent Biller-credit balance, and the recharge flow live on their own dedicated Credits page (Admin -> Plan & credits, or tap the credits ring in the top bar) -- see Biller credits & pricing. This Outlet page no longer shows them.
Updating your outlet profile
- Go to Outlet in the admin side bar.
- Tap the Profile tile.
- Fill in:
- Outlet name, Outlet address, Phone -- print on every bill.
- GSTIN -- add it when you create the outlet or here later; it prints on the bill only once set.
- GST registration -- Regular, Composition scheme or Not registered.
- FSSAI licence number -- entered here per outlet (not auto-looked up), prints wherever your bill template shows it.
- UPI ID (
handle@bank) -- a printed bill then shows a payment QR pre-filled with the total. A reprint after settling cash/card/UPI drops the QR (already paid); a bill closed Due (khata) keeps it, since that's how the customer still settles. Blank = no QR. - Outlet location -- Use current location or Pick on map, the point delivery distances are measured from.
- Tap Save in the bar that appears when something changed (or Discard to throw the changes away).

Billing rules
Open the Billing rules tile on the Outlet page for the toggles that change how a bill behaves. None is saved until you tap Save.
- Send the receipt on WhatsApp after finishing -- on by default; sets where the Finish sheet's WhatsApp switch starts. The till can still turn it off for one bill.
- Require customer details to complete a bill -- off by default (Complete always works, name is just nudged). On: customer fields open from the start and Complete stays disabled until a name is entered.
- Round bill totals to the nearest rupee -- off by default. On: every new bill gets a signed Round off line everywhere it appears (billing screen, receipts, GST invoice); already-open/completed bills keep their exact total.
On the outlet Overview, the Hours tile summarises the opening hours you saved (for example "Every day 11:00-23:30"); it reads "Not set up yet" until you save hours. Saved settings -- profile, UPI ID, billing rules -- show the same values after a reload, and saving one field never changes another.
Outlet logo
The Logo section at the top of the Profile page has the logo control: tap Replace (or Upload logo) and pick a PNG, JPEG, or WEBP image (up to 2MB) -- it saves immediately, no separate Save step. Remove takes it off and falls back to the default icon.
Your outlet logo shows up on the customer table-QR join screen, on the customer's own bill (printed and the one they open from a link), and wherever your outlet's branding is shown (your public outlet page).

Clean up with AI
If your logo photo has a messy background, isn't square, or is too faint to print clearly, tap Clean up with AI in the Logo section. This opens a review sheet at no cost -- the 2 credits are only spent when you tap Clean up with AI again inside it to actually generate a cleaned-up candidate. Photograph the logo off your signboard or an old menu card -- AI trims the background, squares it, and raises the contrast so it prints legibly on a thermal receipt. You're shown a before/after preview and choose Use this logo or Discard; nothing replaces your saved logo until you approve it, and closing the sheet without generating anything costs nothing.
Guided tour
The first time you open the Outlet page, a short guided tour spotlights the tiles for Tables & QR, Taxes, and Packaging, so you know where to find them. It only shows itself once; if you want to see it again, open the "..." menu and pick Show walkthrough.
Setup reminders
If your outlet is missing a phone number or GSTIN, or a softer detail like your logo or FSSAI number, a small banner appears at the top of the Outlet, Menu, or Inventory page naming the gap with a button that jumps straight to the Profile page. Menu also nudges you to add inventory items if you haven't yet, and Inventory nudges you to record a price on any item that's missing one. Dismiss a banner and it stays away for a while, and stops reappearing altogether after a few dismissals -- it never nags forever.
Tips
- None of these fields are required to start billing.
- The same Outlet page also leads to Tables & QR, Taxes and Discounts -- see Taxes & charges.
- Multiple outlets: use the outlet switcher in the top bar -- the profile you're editing always belongs to whichever outlet is selected.
