Managing multiple outlets

An outlet is one physical location -- one restaurant, cafe, cloud kitchen or takeaway counter. If you run more than one, they all live under the same Biller.app account: one login, and a tap in the top bar to move between them.

Switching outlets

Tap the outlet name in the top bar to open the switcher (a bottom sheet on mobile, the same control on desktop). Pick a different outlet and every screen -- billing, the kitchen ticket wall, reports, inventory -- updates to that outlet immediately. Your role is worked out fresh for the outlet you just switched into, not carried over from the one you left, so what you're allowed to do can change the moment you switch.

The switcher only appears as a clickable trigger once your account is confirmed to belong to more than one outlet -- if you manage just one, the top bar shows a plain, non-clickable outlet name instead.

What's separate per outlet

  • Menu, prices and categories
  • Inventory and stock levels
  • Team members, and their role at that outlet
  • Bill history and reports
  • Biller credits and any active plan -- each outlet has its own wallet and plan; nothing is ever pooled or shared across outlets you run. See Biller credits & pricing.
  • Printers and, if you use it, table-QR ordering -- pairing a printer or generating a table QR at one outlet does not carry over to another.

What's shared across your account

  • Your login -- one phone number or email signs in to every outlet you belong to.
  • A regular customer's name, phone and email -- recognized whether they walk into any of your outlets, so you're not starting their profile from zero at every location. What's recorded about a specific visit (a note, a birthday, a GSTIN on file) stays attached to the outlet that recorded it, though, not copied to the others.

The same person, a different role at each outlet

A team member doesn't need a separate account for a second outlet -- the same phone number or email can belong to several, and the role doesn't have to match across them. Someone can be an Admin at the outlet they run day to day and a Waiter at a second location they only cover on weekends. Adding them to a second outlet works the same way as adding anyone else -- a one-time invite link or a direct add from the Team screen -- scoped to that outlet specifically. See Adding team members with an invite link.

Adding a second outlet

  1. From Admin, register the new outlet with its name and address -- it appears in your outlet switcher immediately.
  2. Add its team, one invite or direct-add at a time, independent of who's on your first outlet's team.
  3. Set up its menu -- a new outlet starts empty, so scan or build its catalog the same way you did the first.
  4. Pair its own printers and, if you use it, table-QR ordering.

What isn't there yet

There's no single dashboard that sums sales across every outlet you run -- Insights and reports are per-outlet, so if you manage several you currently check each one's numbers separately rather than one rolled-up total.
