Keep more money, legally

Keep more money, legally is a short guide opened from the Read the guide banner on your Summary. It lists the legal ways a CA can help you keep more of what you earn, the biggest for your outlet first. Biller builds nothing that hides, deletes or splits sales.

How to read it

Each tile has a rupee figure where Biller can work one out from your bills, and Your CA works out where it cannot. Tap a tile for a few plain lines on it, and Got it to close. Every figure is an estimate from your Biller data; your CA confirms.

  • Cash vs digital -- how much less is counted as profit a year if all sales were digital, on presumptive tax. Every cash sale is still billed. This is never a cash limit.
  • Pay small suppliers in 45 days -- a bill to a small registered supplier counts this year only if paid within 45 days. Your CA works out which suppliers count.
  • File on time -- the cost of each day a GST return is late.
  • Claim back app tax -- the 0.1% delivery apps keep as income tax, from 1 April to now, to claim in the return.
  • Composition or regular GST -- under Rs 1.5 crore a year, composition could fit. Your CA works out which is better.
  • Salary to family who work here, Rent to family who own the shop and Business costs and equipment -- what counts, in plain words. Your CA works out the figure.
  • Under Rs 20 lakh? -- your last 12 months of sales against the Rs 20 lakh GST registration limit, with the Rs 1.5 crore and Rs 2 crore marks. Cross it and you must register within 30 days. The limit is Rs 10 lakh in special-category states.

Why hiding sales gets caught

The Income Tax Department checked the billing data of 1.77 lakh restaurants and found Rs 70,000 crore of hidden sales since 2019-20 (reported March 2026). Cash bills deleted before filing were how 62 restaurants were caught in March 2026. UPI and card sit in bank records, a deleted bill still leaves gaps, and a family name does not split a business. An old return can be fixed for up to 4 years.

What Biller will never do

Biller will never delete a finished bill, hide cash bills, give you a cash limit or suggest splitting. Every void and edit is logged for your CA.

The rates, limits and dates are as of 16 October 2026. This is not tax advice; your CA decides.
