Paying your bill online

If the restaurant takes online payment, you can pay your bill from your phone instead of waiting at the counter.

From the link you were sent

1. Open the bill link the restaurant sent you on WhatsApp, or scan the QR on the bill.
2. Check the bill. Under it, tap Pay ₹ amount online. It sits above Print Bill and the other buttons.
3. Pick UPI or card in the payment window and pay. The money goes to the restaurant through Razorpay.
4. The page changes to Paid · UPI online (or Paid · Card online) with the payment reference. The restaurant's till shows the bill as paid by itself.

On a computer, Razorpay shows a UPI QR to scan with your phone.

If the page says it is confirming your payment, wait a moment and reopen the link; it turns to paid as soon as the bank confirms.

If the restaurant put your bill on credit and you have paid some of it, the button shows only what is left to pay.

My bills

When you sign in with your mobile number, My bills lists every bill you have paid or owe, with the amount. A bill that is still due says Due and has a Pay button that takes you straight to the payment. A paid bill says how it was paid, for example Paid · UPI.

If something goes wrong

• Nothing happened when I paid. Reopen the bill link. If you were charged, the bill shows as paid as soon as the payment is confirmed. If it does not, ask the restaurant; they can see the payment in their Razorpay account.
• No Pay button. The restaurant has not switched on online payment, or the bill is already paid.
