Connecting Claude and other apps
Biller can let a third-party app -- like Claude -- read (and, if you allow it, act on) your outlet's data on your behalf, without ever sharing your Biller password or login.
Connecting an app
When an app like Claude asks to connect to Biller, your browser opens an Authorize screen right inside the app. It shows:
- Which app is asking -- its registered name, never a raw URL or technical id.
- Which outlet the connection would be scoped to -- always the outlet you're currently signed in as.
- What it's asking to do, in plain language (for example, "Read your outlet's bills, menu, and reports").
Tap Authorize to connect it, or Deny to decline -- nothing is granted until you tap Authorize. Only an outlet Admin can approve or deny a connection request.
Managing and revoking access
Every app you've connected shows up under Admin -> Outlet -> Connected apps, alongside what it can do and when it was last used. Tap Revoke on any row to disconnect it immediately -- it loses access right away, and can only reconnect if you authorize it again from scratch.
A connection is scoped to one outlet and one set of permissions -- it can never see more than what the Authorize screen showed you, and revoking one app never affects any other connected app.
