Try Biller before you sign up

You can bill a real order on Biller's home page before you have an account. The trial is the same billing screen a cashier uses, running in your browser tab. Nothing about it is a demo: the items, the customer, the receipt and the numbers on the done screen are yours, and one tap later they become a real outlet.

Billing your first order

  1. Open biller.app. The billing screen is the home page; tap the greeting ("Your first GST bill in two minutes. Tap to start.") to begin -- no sign-up.
  2. Add items three ways: tap Add your menu from a photo or file and take one photo of your menu -- the items appear as tiles; start typing a dish or product name and pick it from the suggestions; or type a name and a price yourself. Tap a tile to add it to the bill.
  3. The footer reads Menu · KOT · Finish. Menu opens your trial menu for edits; KOT explains what a kitchen ticket does; Finish closes the bill.
  4. The first Finish asks for your outlet name once, with a Restaurant / Shop choice. Every bill carries the outlet name -- customers, GST and your receipts all need it -- and you can change it any time.
  5. Add the customer once. Next time you type that number, Biller fills in the name and shows their past bills and dues. Pick UPI, cash, card or due.

What the done screen shows

After Finish you see what Biller did with the bill, in real numbers: the stock each item used, the customer's visits and dues, the kitchen ticket, the GST split, and today's sales. Below it is the 80 mm paper receipt as it would print, with Print, WhatsApp and Tax invoice. Trial invoices are numbered TRIAL/…/1, TRIAL/…/2 and so on; real invoice numbers arrive when you save the outlet.

Limits of the trial

  • Ten bills per tab. The counter under the bill reads "Bill 1 of 10 in this trial". At ten you will see "Ten bills is the most this trial holds -- Save this outlet to keep billing."
  • One menu photo per device. A second photo on the same machine shows "More photos after you save the outlet"; the rows from your first scan stay. If scanning is resting for the day you will see "Scanning is resting today -- type your items", and typing works exactly the same.
  • Twelve lines per bill and sixty menu items. Finish the bill and start the next.
  • The trial lives while the tab is open. Closing the tab ends it; the scanned menu rows are kept on the device so you never have to scan again.

Saving your outlet

Tap Save this outlet on the done screen (on a desktop, also from any locked section in the side rail). You sign in -- or create your account -- and Biller turns the tab's trial into a real outlet in one step: the outlet name, the menu, every finished bill with real invoice numbers, and the customers you added. If you already run an outlet on Biller, you can add the trial's menu and bills to that outlet instead. Imported bills count against your bill credits like any other bill.

What stays on your device

The trial is stored in your browser tab, not on Biller's servers. Until you save, the server sees only your item searches, the one menu photo you scan, and anonymous counts of what you used. No bill, customer or outlet name leaves the tab before you tap Save.
