Terms of Service

1. Who we are

Biller is operated by Biller ("Biller", "we", "us", "our"), registered at 012, Sai Vandana Brundavan Apt, Off Sarjapura Road, Bangalore - 560035, India.

2. The service

Biller is a subscription-free, self-serve billing and restaurant management platform for independent restaurants, cafés and cloud kitchens in India. The service includes:

• Bill creation, a live kitchen display ("KDS") board, and daily/order insights for a single outlet or several outlets under one account;
• AI-assisted menu setup — you photograph your printed menu and our menu-scan feature (built on Google Gemini's vision models) extracts item names and prices into an editable catalog for you to review and commit;
• Sharing a customer's bill by WhatsApp, SMS or a scannable QR code;
• Optional browser push notifications for order and kitchen updates.

We may add, change or remove features at any time. We'll do our best to give notice of changes that materially reduce what a paid feature does.

3. Accounts

You sign up with a mobile phone number, verified by a one-time passcode through Firebase Authentication (a Google service). You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act for the restaurant business you register. You're responsible for keeping your account and any staff logins you create secure, and for all activity under your account.

4. Pricing and credits

Biller is billed one of two ways:

• Free: up to 100 bills per calendar day (midnight IST reset), forever, with no credit card required and every feature unlocked.
• Prepaid bill-credit packs: once you're past the free daily quota, you can buy a credit pack (currently 2,000 credits for ₹199, 5,000 for ₹449, 10,000 for ₹799, or a limited-time introductory 50,000-credit pack for ₹1,899 — regular price ₹4,499, capped to the first 100 buyers — 1 credit consumes 1 bill). Credits do not expire. Pack prices and sizes may change; the price you paid for credits you already own does not change retroactively.

5. Payments

Credit-pack purchases are processed by Razorpay, a licensed Indian payment gateway. We never see or store your full card, UPI or net-banking credentials — Razorpay handles that directly. A payment only credits your account once Razorpay confirms it succeeded; if a payment fails or is left incomplete, no credits are added and no commitment is created.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: use the service for any unlawful purpose; attempt to circumvent the free-quota or credit metering; interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure; or resell access to the service without our written permission.

7. Your data

Our Privacy Policy explains what account, outlet, menu, bill and customer data we collect, why, and who we share it with (including Firebase, Razorpay, Google Gemini and our hosting and analytics providers). You own your outlet's business data; you can export it and, subject to legal and accounting retention requirements, request its deletion.

8. Service availability

We aim for the service to be available whenever you need to bill, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The service is provided "as is" and "as available." Menu-scan accuracy depends on photo quality and Google Gemini's output — always review the extracted catalog before committing it.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Biller is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses (such as lost profits or lost sales) arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Termination

You may stop using Biller and close your account at any time; see the Refund & Cancellation Policy for what happens to unused prepaid credits. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraud, or abuse the free quota or payment systems.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising from these terms is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, make reasonable efforts to notify active accounts. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
