Install the printer companion

The printer companion is a small app that lets Biller talk to your printers. Install it once on any computer at your outlet -- no terminal, no typing commands.

Windows

1. On Admin -> Printers, tap Download the printer companion app and choose Windows.
2. Windows will say the app is unrecognized -- this is expected (we haven't bought a certificate yet). Click More info, then Run anyway.
3. The app opens on its own after that. Type the 6-digit code shown on the Printers page, or paste your token under "Advanced".
4. Done -- it starts automatically every time you turn the computer on.

macOS

1. On Admin -> Printers, tap Download the printer companion app and choose macOS.
2. macOS will block the first open -- this is expected. In Finder, right-click the downloaded file and choose Open, then confirm.
3. Type the 6-digit code shown on the Printers page, or paste your token under "Advanced".
4. Done -- it starts automatically whenever you log in.

Linux

1. On Admin -> Printers, tap Download the printer companion app and choose Linux.
2. Prefer a package manager? Install the .deb file like any other app. Prefer a single file? Right-click the AppImage, allow it to run as a program, then double-click it.
3. Type the 6-digit code shown on the Printers page, or paste your token under "Advanced".
4. Done -- it starts automatically whenever you log in.
