Multi-Outlet Management on Biller.app: One Account, Every Location, Roles That Don't Have to Match

Published

A restaurant that opens a second location usually inherits a second login, a second spreadsheet, and a menu that quietly drifts out of sync with the first. Biller.app keeps every outlet you run under one account instead: one login, a tap to switch between locations from the top bar, and each outlet's menu, inventory, team and bill history kept properly separate underneath.

One Biller.app account, three outlets -- MG Road, Koramangala and Whitefield -- each with its own menu, inventory, team and free daily bill quota, switched between from the top bar

How switching actually works

Every screen inside Biller.app -- billing, KOT, reports, inventory -- is scoped to whichever outlet you're currently viewing. Tap the outlet switcher in the top bar (a bottom-sheet picker on mobile) and pick a different one; what you see updates instantly, and so does what you're allowed to do there, because your role is worked out fresh for the outlet you just switched into rather than carried over from the one you left.

What's separate per outlet, and what isn't

Separate for each outletShared across your account Menu, prices and categoriesYour login Inventory and stock levelsA regular customer's name, phone and email Team members, and their role at that outlet-- Bill history and reports-- The free 100-bills-a-day quota -- resets on its own for each outlet, never pooled between them--

Customers sit in between the two columns, deliberately: a regular's name and contact details are recognized whether they walk into your MG Road outlet or your Whitefield one, so you're not starting their profile from zero at every location. But anything recorded about that specific visit -- a note, a birthday, a GSTIN on file -- stays attached to the outlet that recorded it, not copied to the others.

The same person, a different role at each location

If you run more than one outlet, a team member doesn't need a separate account for each one -- the same phone number or email can be part of several, and the role doesn't have to match across them. Someone can be an Admin at the outlet they manage day to day and a Waiter at a second location they only cover on weekends; see our full breakdown of the four roles for what each can and can't do. Adding them to a second outlet works the same way as adding anyone else -- a one-time invite link or a direct add from the Team screen -- scoped to that outlet specifically.

Adding a second outlet

  1. From Admin, register the new outlet with its name and address -- it appears in your outlet switcher immediately.
  2. Add its own team, one invite or direct-add at a time, independent of who's on your first outlet's team.
  3. Set up its menu -- a new outlet starts as its own outlet, so scan or build its catalog the same way you did the first (see our AI menu-scan guide; a photo scan takes about the same two minutes each time).
  4. Pair its own printers and, if you use it, table-QR ordering -- neither carries over from another outlet automatically.

What's honest to say isn't there yet

There's no single dashboard that sums sales across every outlet you run -- Insights and reports are per-outlet, by design, so a five-outlet operator currently checks each one's numbers separately rather than one rolled-up total. If a consolidated, cross-outlet view of your whole chain's day is what you need today, that's not built yet.

Bottom line

One login, no cap on how many outlets you can add, and a tap in the top bar to move between them -- with each outlet's menu, inventory, team and bill history kept properly apart, and its own free 100-bills-a-day quota that never has to be shared with the others. Built for a single counter and for the fifth location of a growing chain, on the same account.
