Free GST Invoice Generator and GST Calculator for India (2026): No Login, No Signup
Published
If you're the person who ends up making the GST invoice by hand -- copying seller and buyer details into a Word template, working out CGST/SGST on a calculator, hoping the HSN code is right -- we built two free tools for exactly that job this week. No login, no signup, no watermark. Here's what each one does, and what it deliberately doesn't do.
1. Free GST Invoice Generator
Open the GST invoice generator, fill in your seller details and your buyer's, add line items with quantity, rate and HSN/SAC code, and it builds a correct invoice as you type. You don't calculate the tax split yourself -- enter the seller's and buyer's state, and it applies the standard place-of-supply rule: same state means CGST + SGST split equally, different state means a single IGST line. Different line items can carry different GST rates, and the invoice groups the tax summary by rate the way a real GST invoice should. When it's ready, tap "Print / Save as PDF" -- it opens your browser's print dialog, where you save it as a PDF or print it directly, the same as any browser print-to-PDF.
2. Free GST Calculator
For the quicker job -- "what's the GST on ₹4,500?" or "this ₹1,180 already includes GST, what's the taxable value?" -- use the GST calculator. Enter an amount, pick a slab (0/5/12/18/28%), and choose "Add GST" or "Remove GST". It shows the CGST+SGST or IGST split the same way the invoice generator does, based on whether the transaction is within the same state or inter-state.
What we deliberately did not build in
Two honest limits, stated plainly so you can decide if these tools are enough for what you need today: neither tool generates an e-invoice or an IRN, and neither connects to the GST e-invoicing portal -- they produce a printable/downloadable document only. And nothing you type is sent to or stored on any Biller server; every field lives only in your browser tab, which is also why there's no login. If you need e-invoicing, this isn't that tool -- we haven't built it yet.
Why these numbers are the same ones your bills already use
Both tools run on the same tax engine that computes every bill printed from a Biller.app outlet -- not a separate calculator we wrote just for a landing page. If you're already curious about GST specifics for a restaurant -- the exact rates, the HSN/SAC fields that are mandatory, dine-in versus delivery -- we cover that in more depth in our GST billing guide for restaurants.
Who this is for
A shopkeeper or restaurant owner who needs one correct invoice right now and doesn't want to open accounting software to get it. If you're billing regularly -- more than the occasional one-off -- and want the same tax engine wired into daily billing, menu, KOT and reports, that's what the full product does; the invoice generator and calculator stay free and open either way, with or without an account.
